I have a masters in education curriculum and development and over 15 years of science teaching experience. I've taught biochemistry, molecular cell biology, physics, chemistry, biology, enviornmental science, and honors integrated science.
Students will observe the transformation and conservation of energy. The only materials needed are thermometers, coffee cups, and any substrate such as water, rice, or beans.
Students will be able to: 1) Use mole, mass, and volume language to describe chemical reactions. 2) Describe and translate chemical equations. 3) Correctly name molecules and ionic compounds.
