A complete unit of livestock body systems

This unit is set up in Canva slides. It covers milk production, dairy breeds, dairy feeds, milk grading and marketing. Included is a link to a Lactose Lab (not created by me), a graphic organizer, a venn diagram prompt, and concludes with making butter!

This two-day lesson covers any classroom animals you may have, how to handle and care for them, and sanitation procedures you have in your animal labs. This package comes with a word document with links to two Canva slides with accompanying guided notes.

I used this in my Engineering STEM course as an intro to creative thinking and design. You could use this however fits in your class best! I have included a PDF of my original slides plus a link to the Canva template.

This note sheet allows students to fill in normal vital values and gives methods for obtaining them where applicable. This would be a great opportunity for students to do some independent research or prepare your own slides to go along with the notes.
