Math Assessments for Conceptual Division Strategies with 2-digit Dividends
Students need to have 2 “go-to” strategies, and 1 “back-up” strategy for division.
This formative assessment has carefully selected problems and requires students to work out each problem using 2 different strategies.
There is an exceeds question that challenges students who are ready to work with larger dividends.
A retake formative is also included for students who need more practice.

Experience

Teaching style
I believe in providing students with meaningful and relevant learning experiences throughout the day. I try to keep all learning tasks at an appropriately challenging level with real content and as open ended as possible to allow for differentiation.
My own education history
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in math, and a M.A. in English as a Second Language.
