About the store
I’m Ryan, a former classroom teacher and current curriculum leader with almost 2 decades of experience designing meaningful learning for students. I created Agile With Students to solve a problem most teachers know all too well, group projects that fall apart. By adapting Agile and Scrum practices from the tech world, I built a classroom-tested system that helps students collaborate, stay accountable, and actually learn. Everything I create is grounded in real classrooms and refined to make your life easier — no fluff, just tools that work.

Experience

I’m Ryan, a former classroom teacher and current curriculum leader with almost 2 decades of experience designing meaningful learning for students. I created Agile With Students to solve a problem most teachers know all too well, group projects that fall apart. By adapting Agile and Scrum practices from the tech world, I built a classroom-tested system that helps students collaborate, stay accountable, and actually learn. Everything I create is grounded in real classrooms and refined to make your life easier — no fluff, just tools that work.

Teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered, standards-aligned, and grounded in real-world collaboration. I believe students learn best when they’re actively engaged in meaningful work — not just doing busywork. That’s why I build tools that empower students to take ownership, work in teams, and reflect on their process, not just the final product. I use Agile principles to guide how students work — with clear roles, shared goals, and a structure that supports creativity without chaos. My resources help teachers shift from managing behavior to facilitating real learning.
