This activity was created to use as a tool to clarify understanding of prime and composite numbers. Students will cut out the owls and place them in the correct tree, the prime or composite tree.
This activity was created to help students find the factors of a number. Once the students have found all the factors, then they are to determine if it is a prime of composite number.
Students use area and perimeter to construct rectangles. Then each rectangle will showcase an object to put on their place mat. When all 4 rectangles are measure and cut out, students correctly complete task. Finally, students glue to construction paper.
