This is an updated product due to the success of the original product. It includes the integration of Math Practices and writing in math. Higher order thinking skills are a must to ensure that students are exposed to rigor in daily math lessons. My students have been engaged and appropriately challenged. They enjoy selecting their own tasks to complete. Sometimes, these activities are tiered – students need to complete them in the order I decide. Other times, it’s completely up to them.

In our school, it has been encouraged to have a place in each classroom where students have an opportunity to choose activities when possible. I’ve created this Math Menu Board to be as versatile and reusable as possible. I use bulletin board space to arrange each activity poster.
