I taught 8th grade for 8 years and high school for 4 years. Subjects included basic middle school math, pre-algebra, Algebra I, basic geometry, enriched geometry, and consumer math. I tutor several students one-on-one. I have also designed and taught a technology course for teachers.

Teaching style

I love to incorporate visuals, technology, and topics that students can relate to. I explain the whys of mathematics using proper vocabulary without "cutesy tricks".
