This file refers to the Common Core State Standards First Grade ELA 1.RF.1.5. The first page is a T-chart listing the text features of Literature and Informational texts. It can be shown on your document camera or can be used as the basis for an anchor chart. The second page is a "Pick It and Prove It" graphic organizer that can be reproduced to assess student learning. The student picks fiction or non-fiction, and then proves it by listing two features that support their choice.
