This is a flip chart, organized by standard category, of Iowa Common Core for ELA grades 9-10. I would print these front side only so you can have them hole-punched or bound along the top. In the PDF, underlined standards will link to pages with additional information about the standard.

This worksheet helps students follow along with the (long) TedTalk, "The Danger of a Single Story," presented by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. They can stay occupied and engaged by writing notes while they watch and by coloring.

These will make a wonderful addition to your classroom and help reduce visual clutter with their great examples and minimalist design. For this worksheet, you'll want to have stations set up around your classroom for students to work on. Something as simple as directions on a piece of paper at each station will work just fine. Then, have students use this worksheet to demonstrate their revision skills!
