36 cards with social situations paired with questions. Geared toward middle/high school but can definitely be used for elementary school as well. Questions include, "What would be a better way to handle this?", "What options do we have?", "Something unexpected happened... what was it?", "How could you solve this problem?" and more! Great for OTs, SLPs, psychologists, and counselors. Print them out on brightly colored cardstock, laminate, and you're ready for a social skills group!

Each card has two items. Ask your kids to name similiarities and differences between the items on the cards. Half the cards have a horse and half the cards have a zebra... I use these as an initial example and as a reminder throughout the game for my kids who have a hard time remembering what a similarity is and what a difference is.
I provide these screening requests to teachers at the beginning of the year and also keep a stack outside my office. It offers teachers a way to request a speech or language screening from me and gives me a little more background information on the student.

Each card has three related words. Ask your kids to tell what category the three items belong to. For an extra challenge, ask them to add another category member.
These are very short situations/scenarios you can present to students to generate ideas about how/when to be flexible in their thinking. You can assess multiple perspectives and ideas.

However, teachers also have a lot on their plates and we can't expect them to know the full scope of our practice. This handout will help educate your colleagues so they can help you identify students who may need speech or language services. This is also a great resource for professional development activities for
An easy go-to communication system between speech sessions and home. Depending on the level of the child's written communication, sometimes I will write the log and sometimes I'll have the child write it. I included two options: one for individual or group language/articulation sessions and one for social group sessions.
