Experience

Hi! I’m a former secondary math teacher with two decades of experience, specializing in Algebra 1 and test prep. I’ve taught in both urban and rural schools across two different states, which has shaped how I design activities to meet a wide range of student needs. Whether you're working with struggling learners or looking to challenge your high-flyers, my goal is to make your job easier. These resources are low-prep, easy to use, and designed to help your students get it.

Teaching style

I taught and tutored math since way back in 2008, mostly living in the world of Algebra 1. I’m all about making math feel doable for students and teachers. In my classroom, you’ll find structure and support. I mix things up with guided notes, games, self-checking activities, and hands-on projects so things don’t get stale. I love creating real-world tasks that help math make sense and save teachers time. If it helps students build confidence and frees up your energy, that’s a win in my book.
