About the store

Experience

I have been a high school math teacher for over 15 years. I have taught algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus, college algebra, and trigonometry. I have a passion for finding new ways to integrate mathematical concepts and bring more real life meaning to the topics students are learning.

Teaching style

I am a hands on teacher. I love using manipulatives, playing games, doing group work, and having students move around.

My own education history

I have a bachelor's and master's in secondary mathematics education. I have also continued taking master level mathematics class to keep current and to continue being a life long learner.

Additional biographical information

In addition to teaching high school mathematics, I have also owned a dance studio in our community for 22 years and coach our dance team. I have been working in the education field in some form for over 30 years.
