Teaching style

I believe in the power of an interactive, student centered classroom that incorporate as much reading, writing, listening, and speaking with a group as possible. Keeping students attention and engagement high with a wide variety of activities and experiences within a routine structure with clear and high expectations is my jam. I believe in frequent, formative assessments with immediate feedback for students to take ownership of their learning, and providing many opportunities for differentiation and re-learning for each student.
