Place value disks are the ONLY way to teach place value, once numbers get beyond the hundreds. Base-10 blocks get too bulky, and who has multiple thousands cubes anyway?! My daughter Jesse grew up playing under the desk in my classroom. She has grown into a lovely young woman and talented artist. She has helped me with clip art for student resources for the past 5 years, so we have decided to offer these digital products to help other teachers and TPT creators, too!
