This is a reference sheet for IB Spanish B (SL) students. It includes all of the vocabulary that is commonly seen on the Paper 1 test, but which does not often appear on traditional vocabulary lists. I created this list by going through the last 20 years of IB tests, and seeing which words appear most frequently. I have included synonyms and other forms of words to help students. This is a handout that can supplement their study for the test.

This is a Prezi that goes through a brief introduction to the History of the Spanish Language. It works wonderfully at the beginning of Spanish 1, for students to see a historical and geographical context to the language. A good option is to have students create a timeline of the language in their notes while you are teaching, using this presentation.
