Fictional Narrative - The Other Side of the Story
This is a fun twist on a fictional narrative whereby students will write their own version of a popular fairy tale, and tell it from the perspective of the other character. For example, Baby Bears point of view of, Goldilocks!

Point of View Keyhole
This is a fun integrated activity of reading and visual arts. The focus is on student and character point of view. Students will imagine they got to peer through his/her favourite story character's keyhole at home. They will generate ideas from their point of view of what they saw and take those ideas and draw them in a large keyhole artwork.

Teaching style
I like to integrate creativity into my lessons as much as possible. My students work in an environment where they are encouraged to explore and create. I teach with a variety of methods and incorporate different learning styles within my lessons to meet differentiated instruction. My lessons are inquiry-based, hands-on activities, cooperative learning, and direct instruction. Lesson plans are interactive, student centered, and include strategies to engage all learners.
