This fun activity teaches measurement by comparing two objects of different lengths. Kids will compare precut strips of paper to a crayon and decide if the paper is shorter or longer than the crayon and then glue it under the appropriate heading.
This is a fun activity for an introduction to measurement in Kindergarten or Pre-K. Kids use Cheerios to measure each line. In the cereal bowl, they will write the number of Cheerios it took to cover the line.
