Great way to get students engaged in the classroom! Students arrange the 24 small triangles to make a hexagon whose sides correctly pair information about acids and bases including conjugate acid-base pairs, pH and [H+], pOH and [OH-], and more. There are a couple of answers that can be form multiple pairs which makes it more of a challenge to students. Copy to cardstock and cut out so you can reuse these sets multiple times. I used a variety of colors of paper so if I found a lost card, it woul

Teaching style

Even teaching large lectures, I want to engage students as much as possible. Clicker questions allow students an opportunity to stop and think about a topic, discuss it with their neighbors and come to an answer. Seeing and hearing students discuss possible answers and how to solve the problems is what I love to see in my room when posting clicker questions.
