Experience
I've been teaching for 14 years; 7 as a regular education elementary classroom teacher and 7 as an elementary ESL teacher.
Teaching style
I believe children learn best when they are having fun and when the expectations and routines are clear and well-established. I feel that if I'm exhausted at the end of a lesson, my students should be more exhausted:) We work hard but we have tons of fun!

My own education history
I hold a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Spanish and Music. My Master's degree is in Elementary Education, and I am certified to teach Elementary Education Pre-K - 12, Spanish 7 - 12 and English to Speakers of Other Languages K - 12.
Additional biographical information
I live in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York, one hour north of New York City. I have a great husband and two terrific boys, and we recently added an adorable golden retriever puppy to the family. Life is good!
