This scavenger hunt allows students to practice graphing linear inequalities in two variables all while getting out of their seats and walking around the classroom. Students are able to check their answers because if they cannot find the correct graph or inequality, they know they have made a mistake and must try again. The pages are in order, so make sure to scatter them around the room to get your students moving!
This mini project lets students be creative and design a map of a city all while solving systems of equations. Students will practice graphing lines, finding solutions to systems of equations and comparing parallel and perpendicular lines. A sample rubric for grading is included!
This activity allows students to work in station to review functions, domain and range, slope, writing and graphing equations of lines, scatter plots and best fit lines, graphing two variable inequalities and absolute value functions
Students collect data from their classmates and calculate mean, median, range, standard deviation, etc. Students must evaluate their sample and reflect on careers that collect data regularly.
