Teaching style

I am a phonics-based educator, using explicit and systematic instruction. I find that visually simple materials help students grasp concepts better. Additionally, I believe in establishing a routine-based learning environment, as it helps foster a sense of consistency and structure.

My own education history

I hold both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Additionally, I have obtained a 316 Reading License, which allows me to provide enhanced reading support for elementary students.
