I am a New York State certified teacher with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and over two decades of experience in education, working across Pre-K through Grade 6 in a Title I school district.
Throughout my career, I have taught and supported children in many roles, including:
Classroom teacher (Grades 1 and 5)
Educational Technology teacher (Pre-K–6)
Teaching assistant (General Education, Special Education, Life Skills)
Substitute teacher
Computer lab assistant
Medical aide
Assistant Christian Education Director (Grades K–12), where I developed curriculum and trained parent volunteers
Vacation Bible School teacher
I currently teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and community circle, and I work closely with ENL students and students with IEPs and 504 plans.
Why I Create These Resources
I noticed that many students struggle at home because:
Homework does not look or feel like classroom learning
Families are unsure how to help
Materials feel overwhelming or unfamiliar
I also noticed that families want to help — they just need clear, simple, familiar tools.
That is why I create:
Low-pressure, structured reading lessons
Materials that mirror classroom routines
Resources that support confidence, stamina, and understanding
Lessons families can use without needing teaching experience
These resources are designed to support:
General education students
Reading intervention
ENL students
Students with IEPs and 504 plans
Families supporting learning at home
