This game is an fun and interactive way to practice rhyming. The game uses PowerPoint. The game is self checking. Students have to choose which picture rhymes with the picture in the box. This is a great and fun way to teach CVC words, phonemic awareness, and blending. Print the pages on cardstock and laminate. Cut the individual cards out. Give a card to each student. There are 21. If you need more let me know. Pick a student to start and read their card. They read it out loud and the person who has what they are looking for stands up and reads. This is a great game that teaches the kids sight words and beginning sounds. Print out both pages(use cardstock to last longer). Tape together. Laminate. Give a goup of 2-6 players something they can move on the gameboard so they know where they are on the game and dice(one that goes up to 3 would be best so the game last longer).
