Teaching style
I am a strong believer in fun engagement. The two things are not exclusive and they both take a lot of work. I want my students to be excited to come into class every day because they have no idea what kids of fun things we will be doing. I believe that above anything else that engagement is the key element in successful teaching. If the kids are engaged then it doesn't matter how difficult the subject matter is, they will rise to the occasion because they are having fun.
My own education history
I have a BA in Interdisciplinary studies and am currently working on a Master in the Science of Reading.
