This is a guided note activity that supports students in introducing exponents and exponential functions. There are several points in the notes that allow students to self discover some of the key components of exponential functions. They use their own intuitive thinking skills in order to come up with clear conclusions about exponential functions. This has been a tried and true activity for my Algebra 1 class and can be used as an introduction activity or a refresher for exponential functions
