I've spent many years teaching grades 2nd thru 5th, with the majority of them in 4th grade. The majority of my time has been in self-contained classrooms, but was a Math/Science teacher for one year, as well as years of experience writing Math curriculum at the district level for first and fourth grade.

Graphing & Data Survey Pack
In this Graphing & Data Survey Pack the students will pick a question card, observe and collect their data, and them make a bar (or picture graph) to go along with it. This is a great way to see if students really understand how to represent data.
You could use this as a Math station or a class activity. The best part is that all the questions can be easily answered by simply looking around the room. There is no need for any student to bother another with a silly question like "Are you wearing
