Students pick which content they would like to use to demonstrate their understanding of Math 8 material.

Students use exponent rules to help figure out which minion has the fart spray and where they took it! It was Dave on the school bus, shhhh!

3 activities included... -Finding the hypotenuse given legs -Finding leg/hypotenuse & converse -Coordinate Plane

Students earn points on based on their wager, similar to playing trivia, to compete to earn the most points. Students only need to find the hypotenuse of a right triangle given both legs.

Students can choose which problems they solve depending on their comfort level with Pythagorean Theorem and its converse.

Students work together to find the distance between two points using the Pythagorean Theorem on a coordinate plane.

Use these cards with students to quickly sort them into groups of 2-6 depending on what you need for that lesson. Letters - Groups of 2 Fruit - Groups of 3 Pets - Groups of 4 Numbers - Groups of 5 Colors - Groups of 6

Signs will be double sided and ready to be printed and cut to hang in your classroom or attach to bins.

Post reminders per content to your students. Great resource to share with your Interdisciplinary Team to make and share out to all students.

The perfect get to know you activity! I am saving mine and keeping them in a binder and using the back for parent contact logs.

Partner grouping strategy to allow students to pick partners for each food combo. The teacher then says "find your Eggs & Bacon partner" and your class will easily be able to group up.

Students work independently or as a group to find the unknown values. This is a good lead-in to systems but is also a fun team-building activity.
