This is a fourth grade ELA unit for figurative language based on the new state standards. This unit last a little over a month and includes reading, writing, speaking and language activities and objectives.

This is large project for the students to pick and choose a combination of projects to reach 100 points for a grade. Examples include: Book Review, Game Boards, Travel Brochures and more! All rubrics are attached and ready to go! The rubrics are made from and adapted a tad bit for my liking from www.rubistar.com

This project can be used for homework or in class. The students must conduct research and create a project about different holidays celebrated around the world. Attached are guiding questions and a rubric.

The students REALLY enjoyed this reading project! This reading homework project gives the students the options of creating a PowerPoint Presentation, Come in Character or a Life Size Cut Out. The genre for this project is Biography.

This is a homework assignment for third, fourth or fifth graders. This assignment has two options in which the students can choose from. One option is to create a 3-D model of the earth/sun/moon system. The second option is for the students to create a 2-D diagram of the phases of the moon.

This project gives the students the options of choosing to complete a Book Jacket or a Movie Poster on a novel of any genre.

This is a short 10 question quiz on 4th grade estimation and rounding.
