These are the instructions to the M&M Anger Game

This is an activity and discussion lesson plan involving respect. For effective use of this lesson you will need toothpicks, individual salt packets, paper bowls, and a large sheet of "bulletin board paper". The activity is a metaphor that will lead to a discussion about what respect looks and sounds like.

Using a section from the nonfiction novel :Wild by Cheryl Strayed students have to read the excerpt and identify pronouns, nouns and verbs. This challenges students to identify part of speech within text. The theme of the quiz is that the student is a detective accepting the mission to identify as many pronounces, nouns and verbs as possible.
