This is a review worksheet that I use as an exit ticket activity after the Writing Variables and Expressions lesson. These examples directly correlate with turning words into math expressions. This worksheet will allow the teacher to assess if the students understand how to make words simply become numbers, variables, and operations!

This product includes 2 different examples worksheets depending on the time your lesson has. The first example sheet includes a discussion worksheet, where as the second sheet includes more of a independent learning. Option one should be used for your more advanced classes because it allows them to highlight the important parts. However, option 2 is more in depth and requires the students

This Review will directly correlate with the Unit 1 Algebra: Order of Operations & Evaluating Expressions Worksheets. This activity should be used as an assessment, whether it be an exit ticket or a 10 minute assignment, or even a quiz! This not only covers PEMDAS, but also BODMAS.

This worksheet should follow the introductory variables and expressions worksheet. I personally used this as an exit ticket for my students to display a level of mastery. Similar to all my products, my goal is to incorporate math lessons & activities that allow the students to relate personally.

This feedback form is used for all middle and high school classes! As a teacher, there is nothing worse than not knowing what happened when you were absent. This feedback form allows the teacher to not only learn about the substitute, but also know the best and "not so good" moments of the day.
