This is a one sided reading response form for students to record their thinking and support it with evidence from the text. A great way to assess student thinking as they read independently!

A chart that can be used to teach Greek Mythology for 4th graders. This chart has a place for important characters, theme/moral, and common allusions from the myth. It includes Common Core "I Can" at the top for the three RL standards this activity addresses. You can change the myths you choose, but it currently include "The Midas Touch", "Pandora's Box", "Hercules", and a blank line for other.

This is a mini research project to learn about Native Americans by regions. This can be used for individual students or in teams where each student takes a page to research and then put their research together to create the final product. Each group could focus on a specific region!

This weather graphing activity is student friendly. Each day during your chosen time, the students check the temperature and conditions of the weather and color in the graph. At the conclusion of the weather tracking the student will look at the graph and analyze the data to answer questions.

This individual, station, or small group activity includes a tiered approach to learning about context clues. Students will use QR codes to watch a short video on YOUTUBE and to self check their practice work.
