This is more then just a parent contact log. It also a way to keep up with who attends open house, conference nights, and who returned their report card, and if it was signed or not. There is a place to write in parent contact information as well. This forms has a lot of space for you circle what type of contact was made and a place to make notes about the what was discussed. I have created it as a two page sheet that can easily be ran front and back for any time you have a parent you cont

Experience

I have been teaching for 10 years. I taught 6 years in first grade and have been teaching fourth grade for the past 4 years.

Teaching style

I am a very hands on teacher. I enjoy showing my students how to do something and letting them figure out the best way to complete assignments and not just telling them. I also try to include technology in as many lessons as I can.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I am a Pinnacle leader for my school and county. I have also been a presenter at different state and local workshops.

My own education history

I attended East Carolina University and received my degree Elementary Education K-6 as well as Reading Certification K-12. I also attended Gardner-Webb University and received my Masters Degree in School Administration.

Additional biographical information

I have a wonderful family that I spend my time outside teaching with. I have been married to my husband, Bradley, for 10 years and we have 3 wonderful children.
