I have been teaching for 15 years. I started at 4th grade and simply loved it. It was the best experience for my first couple years of teaching. Then I taught 3rd in a different building and learned that I really enjoyed working with kids from low income families. Then I started a two year journey as a Literacy Coach. Learned so much to help struggling writers and readers. Now I teach first grade and love it. The singing, dancing, and laughing keeps me on my toes.

This is a great way to reinforce ways to make addition sums of 7 through 12. It is broken into two sessions (7,8, and 9/ 10,11, and 12) to really slow down the process and dig deeper into the building of addition sums. The language, part/part/ whole is used.
Students are encouraged to use their counters or they can use a red and yellow crayon to show the number sentence.
PLEASE NOTE- The pages are meant to be printed on 11 X 17!
