Amy Alvis

This is my 29th year in education, and after spending the last decade supporting teachers, I’m excited to be back in the classroom teaching math to 7th and 8th graders. Over the years, I’ve taught a variety of subjects—including computer science—to students in grades 5 through 8. I also served as a math and science trainer for my district and collaborated with the Indiana Department of Education on projects in both the science and social studies departments. While working with teachers, I focused on helping them integrate technology to enhance instruction and was the district’s go-to person for Schoology implementation.
