About the store

Experience

I have had the opportunity to teach multiple subjects and levels at a small private school in a rural Missouri town. I have enjoyed introducing Gatsby to twelfth graders and division to fourth graders and everything in between. I love language and empowering kids to use it to change the world.

Teaching style

I love getting my students talking and having them actively involved in class. Just teaching facts is not as important as teaching students how to think and inspiring them to use their minds.

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and a Masters Degree in Education from Truman State University in Missouri.
