Students are put in groups of four, assigning one as the role of the banker. The PowerPoint takes students through each month and requires them to pay their bills, buy something new and purchase stocks. Unexpected emergencies along the way require them to part with their money as well. It is a great game to develop a concept of money, understand the

They then hold a Model United Nations style discussion in which they attempt to debate and work together to come up with resolutions to various questions that have been posed. This goes well in conjunction with the Rwandan Genocide slideshow I have also posted. Combine the two for a better deal!

This is a PowerPoint I made using an acronym to teach students the causes of World War One. It creatively goes through each of the causes with a package of Ramen noodles on each slide, making the students wonder, 'why is that there?' Then the last slide sums up each of the causes using RamIn as an acronym. I found this PPT to be very helpful!
