This file shows examples of decorated Ukranian Easter eggs. This is a great lesson for showing the use of lines and shapes. This group of cards teaches the parts of speech. Each part of speech has one card that defines the part of speech (ex. A preposition tells the position or relationship of one thing to something else.) and one card that explains the part of speech's origin (ex. This booklet was developed for a Montessori classroom to allow students to practice sounding out and reading phonetic consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words.
