After teaching AP Statistics for 5 years and seeing students solve problems using multiple methods, I searched to find these connections and help other teachers see the validity of different methods in the same problem (instead of "well you do this problem this way"). This project has students collecting class data and displaying it in multiple ways, showing how those ways are connected. It helps them work with a Venn Diagram to represent "AND" from the cells in a 2-way Table and shows those cells in a Tree too. Students create the different types of questions that will be on the assessment: basic, "and", "or", "given" and independent. My "Sample" had my tree symbolically mislabeld (the M should be P(MlF) or P(MlF') etc and I would have liked all the "And"s l
