Experience
This year is my sixteenth year in the classroom, with thirteen of them in seventh and eighth grade science.
Teaching style
I use the Interactive Science Notebook for notes and inquiry. I use a lot of foldables and manipulatives to introduce new material, then follow with labs and activities that require a deeper level of understanding.
My own education history
B.A. Biology, Kalamazoo College, 1998
M.S. Geosciences, Mississippi State University, 2004
