I use this with my 8th grade students as part of my Marketing unit and they absolutely LOVE it!! This is the presentation that I show them with samples of previous boxes from previous students, directions for creating, background information, and a rubric. I have my students use Canva to create the boxes but if they love to draw, they can also create it on paper. This is one of their favorite projects to do all year. This could also be used for art class incorporating cross curriculum.

This is an activity where students are assigned the role of police officer. They will look at each scenario and determine the Phonetic Alphabet to call in tag numbers to dispatch. They will also and have to determine the correct code to use when talking over the radio. It includes the document the students will use, answer key, and website link for them to find the answers. This is a handout to go with an Ag Explore website. It will teach students about agriculture jobs and allows them to go on agriculture field trips. The website also has a career quiz which students are instructed to take per the handout. There is not an answer sheet for this handout because each students results will be different, but this is a great way to introduce students to Agriculture careers.
Cut out's, worksheet, answer key- are all included for students to put together AND color their own Gallon man! My kids Love doing this activity! They work on their scissor skills, coloring skills, AND learn measurements. I have them cut out the pieces and then glue him onto white paper or construction paper. They then color him and complete the worksheet. I use it with my 8th graders!!
I use this presentation with my Middle School students as part of our Agriculture and Natural Resources career cluster. As I walk through the presentation, they complete the handout.
