A 5 day color unit with directions, materials list, and no prep work pages. - color mixing - growing rainbow - walking rainbow - skittles rainbow - color changing flower
This is a helpful work page that is designed for a math talk about each number (1-10). I use it in my kindergarten classroom as we talk about the number of the day.
How to Play: The first player to connect 4 (of the same color) in a row wins!Players alternate turns and “drop” one counter at a time filling in from the bottom to the top.
This apple counting activity is great to use during whole group or at a math station!
Students gather chips in hand (or cup), shake, and then DROP chips onto tree. Students then count the red chips and yellow chips and color the apples in the tens frame to match.
This resource contains two word sorts that give students the opportunity to sort words by their family. This would be a great resource to use during a word work station or student teaming activity. You also have the option to make it an open or closed sort. Set 1: 50 word cards -at, -en, -it, -og, -ug Set 2: 50 word cards -ap, -et, -ip, -op, -ub

These activities are perfect for any math center or station. They help students identify numbers, work on counting, and practice number cardinality. Students can work independently or with a partner to count how many chocolate chips are on a cookie and then match the cookie to the correct number on a cookie sheet.
There is also a work page for students to color the cookies, cut them out, and paste them onto a "cookie sheet."
