About the store
This school year marks the second year of my teaching journey. My only experience teaching has been in third grade and it quickly became my favorite grade ever. I graduated college and earned my credential during the unfortunate year of 2020 so a lot of my student teaching experience was done through distance learning. Because of this, a lot of my resources are created with technology in mind to make learning more engaging, purposeful, and fun!

Experience

This school year marks the second year of my teaching journey. My only experience teaching has been in third grade and it quickly became my favorite grade ever. I graduated college and earned my credential during the unfortunate year of 2020 so a lot of my student teaching experience was done through distance learning. Because of this, a lot of my resources are created with technology in mind to make learning more engaging, purposeful, and fun!

Teaching style

I would describe my teaching style as organized chaos. I love being able to be silly and sarcastic with my students. Being young myself I love coming to work and feeling like I am just hanging out with a bunch of tiny friends. However, the other side of me is a perfectionist who needs a strict schedule. I try to combine both of these polar opposite traits of mine into my teaching to create a fun, structured environment that teaches students that with great fun in teaching, comes great responsibility.

2022-23 Teacher of the Year at my school site, Masters of Ed in Teaching

My own education history

I graduated high school in 2016 where I decided to continue my education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in California. I studied Liberal Studies and minored in Child Development. In June 2020 I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies and my minor. Three days later I began my next journey at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California to get my credential and Masters in education through a 12 month hybrid program. From there I graduated with my credential and Masters in June 2021 and got a job teaching third grade in the same district I grew up in as a student!
