About the store
Originally from Kingsville, Texas, I am a proud alumna of H.M. King High School and Texas A&I University (now TAMUK), where I earned my Bachelor of Science. My lifelong affinity for the outdoors—particularly the Texas coast—inspired me to pursue a degree in Field Biology with a minor in Chemistry. This year marks my 25th year in science education and my 14th year serving the Uvalde community. Beyond the classroom, I am a dedicated mother to my son in San Antonio and a devoted "pet parent" to a lively household of two boxers, two cats, and two bearded dragons. Whether I am tending to my garden, relaxing by the river, or enjoying a quiet moment on my porch, I am happiest when immersed in nature. Science is my true passion, and I consider it a privilege to share that knowledge with my students every day.

The lab culminates with a comparative analysis and a CER (Claim-Evidence- Reasoning) summative assessment in which you will evaluate how th
