I developed this preschool progress report to use with the Preschool Assessment I developed. I use this to show to the parents how their child is doing and let them take this home so they know what they need to work on with their child. This progress report was developed based on what they need to know to go to kindergarten and also the State Guidelines for Preschool.
This 5 page preschool assessment is designed to assess children on upper case and lower case letters, phonics, shapes, colors, mathematics and personal information. Use as an entrance and/or exit assessment, to prepare for conferences or identify areas where children are struggling.

I made up this Parent Teacher Conference Notice for my preschool. It is simple to fill out...just the date and time. There is also an RSVP section for the parents to return.
This counting and one-to-one correspondence activity is great to use with preschool or kindergarten. Have children draw or cut out gumballs to place in the gumball machine. Then they can write the number of how many they have. Great for an activity where children can individualize their own project and still learn.
Check out examples of how I used it at http://aninterestingmix.blogspot.com.

Students can work on letter identification and handwriting all in one booklet! There are two pages for each letter. On the first page, students can circle or highlight the letter shown at the top in each sentence. The second page is set up so that students can practice tracing and writing the letter on their own. This Alphabet Journal is intended to be printed front to back to make a booklet, and so that when open, both pages showing represent the same letter. Feel free to print the entire b
Children identify the numbers 1-10 (not in order on the worksheet) and then color, stamp or sticker that number of blocks in the row. Great for number recognition, counting and one-to-one correspondence.

Great practice for writing numbers 1-10 with a snowman theme. The snowman on each page tells them how to write the number. Spot to practice writing each number six times each. Snowman clip art is from Microsoft Word.
Children can match upper case to lower case letters. Laminate cards and cut apart. Use them with dry erase markers to circle the lower case letter, or with clothespins to increase fine motor strength.
This is a great activity to do with any grade. This is the COVER only for the book.
In preschool, my older class makes a birthday book for each child on their birthday. They tell us what they would like to say to the birthday child and then we write it. The children then draw a picture for the birthday child. We put it all together in book form then as a keepsake.

An adaptation of something I saw on Pinterest. Use this template to color your 'bad', 'okay' and 'great' examples of coloring. Use red, yellow and green yard sale stickers with a sad face, straight face or happy face to give visual clues for the perfect picture.
