Teaching style

According to the book "Teaching with Style: A Practical Guide to Enhancing Learning by Understanding Teaching and Learning Styles," I might begin my school year as an expert. This means that I will set clear expectations for my students and provide feedback do they understand the path that they will be going. Over the first couple of months, I will transition to the role of a facilitator. As a facilitator, I will design participatory learning activities and manage classroom projects, while also providing information and feedback to promote critical thinking.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was privileged to be named Teacher of the Year and received exemplary recognition from the state of Texas, a testament to dedication and passion in education.

My own education history

I am pleased to share that I hold a degree in Writing for Media, as well as a certification in Core Subjects 4-8. Additionally, I have earned a bilingual certification from the state of Texas.

Additional biographical information

Hello, everyone! I'm very excited to share with you everything I've been creating for my students. I teach fourth grade in Texas, and my class is bilingual. Sometimes, it can be quite challenging to find resources in Spanish. This summer, I spent time creating new content, so I thought, why not share it all? I hope these resources are helpful to you. Happy teaching! :)
