Teaching style

If you’re tired of screen-heavy lessons and need something that actually holds student attention, you’re in the right place! I create print-and-go ELA resources for middle and high school that are: ✨ low prep (just print and teach) ✨ skills-focused and easy to follow ✨ designed to keep students actively reading, writing, and thinking Most of my materials are intentionally paper-based to combat digital fatigue and bring focus back to the classroom. These are assignments students can hold, annotate, and engage with -- not just click through on a Chromebook. You’ll find: → novel studies → essay units → creative and analytical projects → skill-focused assignments → differentiated materials for student support Each resource includes clear learning goals, structured tasks, and meaningful rigor so students understand what they’re learning and why it matters. At the core, my materials reflect what ELA should be: not just skill-building, but helping students connect with ideas, perspectives, and the human experience.

My own education history

I earned by BA in English and Education from Montclair State University in 2016, and I've been teaching ever since! In 2020 - pregnant with my first baby and in the height of COVID - I went back to MSU to earn my MA in English (and I loved it!)
