Hi there! I’m a passionate educator with over a decade of experience teaching upper elementary math, most of my years spent in 3rd and 4th math/science. I’ve also taught ESL in South Korea and have worked in both public and public charter schools. I love creating engaging, student-centered math lessons, and anchor charts, that make learning meaningful and fun. I am moving from Texas to Oklahoma this summer to teach 4th grade math, my favorite! Interactive Journal: box method for long division
This product includes a blank worksheet that can be used as an interactive journal for your students while learning or reviewing box method for long division and an answer key for the teacher. They get to fill in vocabulary terms, list their factors on a chart, then complete the steps for long division. It can be used with my box method anchor chart as well.

Box Method for Long Division anchor chart
This anchor chart breaks down the steps for long division using box method. This method was easier for most of my students to grasp than standard algorithm. It also helps to organize their work better. (CFS stands for criteria for success)

Area and Perimeter of a Rectangle anchor chart
This product can be used to support students learning how to use the formulas to finding the area of a rectangle and finding the perimeter of a rectangle. It is a great visual that has the definitions of area/perimeter and how to find each. It can also be printed and used for student journals or binders.
