About the store

Experience

I have been working with children since aproximately 1990. I taught 3 year-olds for about 8 years. When my daughter started kindergarten I was able to go back to school. I have taught K-5 and even 7th grade.

Teaching style

I like to use hands-on activities whenever possible. Students learn so much more by doing. It's a great way for them to make those real-world connections. Technology also plays an important role in my lessons. Many students never get to experience even the simplest things in life. Technology brings those experiences directly to them whether it's a virtual field trip or just simply looking at a picture.
