These calendar pieces can be printed on cardstock or other paper then laminated for durability. I use these during my daily calendar time and affix them to the board with magnets. I leave the date, digital date, money, number of the day, and base ten concepts up all year. The topics are interchangeable and allow for spiral review of concepts throughout the school year.
Perfect worksheet to study the work of author/illustrator, Steven Kellogg. This also works well with Journeys 2nd Grade Lesson 26 "The Mysterious Tadpole."
Need a fun way to kick off Lesson 3 of 2nd grade Journeys? How about graphing your students' favorite dog breeds! After all, the title of the story is Dogs. Simply provide a small swatch of paper or a post-it and have kids indicate their favorite. Makes a great display for Open House.
