This CER Poster is a staple in my classroom. I use it to teach, preview, and support multilingual learners through the writing process. It contains a brief description of each component, sentence frames, and example, and a transitions/linkers to promote autonomy in writing.

With AI all around us, it's challenging to see student's authentic writing. Use this quick-write handout "Am I a system?" in science class to collect an authentic writing sample from your students. It will help you see where they need support in their writing and in the conceptual understanding.
